outfit post // navy & mustard

Navy and mustard.  Two of my favorite colours, in one dress.  With lace.  This is what dreams are made of.

I knew that I had to have it as soon as I saw it....and then stalked it for weeks and waited for it to go on sale.  Mennonite to the end, I am.

The last time I wore this dress was in London last month, and now every time I even just look at it, I'm transported back there.  For her birthday, I bought Jordyn tickets to see Shakespeare's "Comedy of Errors" at the Globe (which was insanely hilarious, and so much fun to check off our bucket list!), and this is what I wore to it.  I love when certain pieces in my closet have special memories attached to them!

These photos were taken on our farm beside our pear trees!  So gorgeous.  Fall is seriously the best time to live on our farm (despite the craziness that comes with having so many people coming to visit to pick apples, pears, pumpkins and more), and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend!
