fall favorites

Fall is one of the craziest times of year for my family, but is definitely one of my favorites.  There's something so special about harvesting everything that you worked so hard to plant and nurture during the spring and summer.

Apples, squash, corn, pumpkins, potatoes and more.  I love it.  And I especially love baking with it, so there will definitely be some yummy Fall recipes coming your way in the coming weeks!

But first, I thought I'd do a quick round-up of a few of my favorite recipes and diys from last year!

First up....apples!!  I am so spoiled with our (almost) endless supply of them, and I do love baking them into things!  My top two favorites from last year were definitely my homemade caramel apples, and my "super healthy because they're baked" apple cider donuts!

Next are pumpkins!  Pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin scones, painted pumpkins.  So many pumpkins!  And a TARDIS pumpkin.  Which was my favorite thing of the entire season.

I hope something here catches your eye!  And don't forget to find a local orchard and pumpkin patch to go pick your own produce.  It's worth it!
