Chocolate + Peanut Butter = a match made in heaven!

I love chocolate. And I love peanut butter. And I love them even more when they’re together! I was inspired by Kristan from - A Broken Bread - when I saw her peanut butter tart! I’ve often made a peanut butter pie which is quite thick, and had never thought about making it a bit smaller! It’s such a rich, decadent dessert, so the tart is such a perfect fit for it.

I always feel like cranberries don’t get enough love when it comes to desserts, so this year I wanted to come up with a recipe where they were really the star of the show. So I whipped up some cranberry curd and paired it with a shortbread crust, for a simple, yet stunning tart. I topped it with a few sugared cranberries, rosemary, and meringues. Whipped cream would also be a great option if you don’t want to fuss with meringues! You can always use a star tip to pipe on whipped cream to make it look even fancier.

Helloooo Summer tart!  Sweet strawberries, tart rhubarb, and the butteriest short bread crust come together in a heavenly combo to make your tastebuds so so happy.  It's a melt in your mouth crust with a sweet tart curd filling.  Definitely recommend!

And yes, if it isn't 100% obvious by now, strawberry rhubarb continues to be my ultimate favourite flavour combo.
